Some people give him a hard time about his knitting work, but Sam Barsky doesn't care. Because capturing photos of the destinations he visits just isn't enough for him, he decided to knit sweaters that depict that scenery as well.
After the sweater is complete, he then captures a photo of himself wearing it with the matching landmarks in the background.
Among his many knitted creations to date, are Niagara Falls, Times Square, Stonehenge and the Capitol Building.
He told the U.K.'s MailOnline Travel that knitting is his "favorite thing to do in life."
The 42-year-old artist from Baltimore, Maryland has knitted over 100 sweaters to date and he's also managed to gather a huge Facebook following on his Artistic Knitting of Sam Barsky page, currently at 23,230 and counting.
Barsky says his sweaters take a month to put together. They've even been displayed at the American Visionary Arts Museum and he sells prints of them on T-shirts, coffee mugs and mouse pads too.
