If you’re a freelancer, chances are someone at some point has asked you to do work for free in exchange for the “exposure.” Thanks, but no thanks. Programmer Zach Zundel recently received an outlandish request for 40-hours of free work, and he had the perfect response!

“Lmao sorry friendaloo but if you want me to write you a couple thousand lines of code you get to profit from forever it’s gonna cost you,” Zach tweeted, along with screenshots of the entire jaw-dropping conversation. His tweet has since received over 15,000 retweets and 48,000 likes.

As if cheap clients aren’t bad enough, this person got PISSED when Zach refused to do the work for free. All we can hope is that this person’s business plan never succeeds.
