IKEA already sells dishware, pots, pans, measuring cups, and everything else you need to cook, heck, they’ll even sell you a whole kitchen. And while you could always buy their famous meatballs in the food court, IKEA is officially taking food to the next level with these genius recipe posters.
IKEA likes to keep things as simple as possible, well, except with some of their furniture assembly, but I digress. The Swedish brand’s Canadian branch teamed up with Leo Burnett, a marketing company based in Toronto, to create recipe worksheets they call Cook This Page. Their goal? To make cooking easier than ever before.
IKEA revealed the innovative cooking instructions at a recent IKEA Canada kitchen event. Each menu includes illustrated recipes, with a place to put all your ingredients. Recipes are printed on parchment paper using food-safe ink. So, after following the instructions, you simply roll it up inside the parchment paper/recipe card and put it in the oven. See for yourself below!
Ready to cook some ravioli with Swedish meatballs?
You can’t buy Cook This Page at your local IKEA just yet, but we have a good feeling that’ll change soon.
